Technician for equipping automation of technological processes and production - a specialist engaged in the design, installation, commissioning and operation of automated and automatic technical systems and their control systems, elements, functional devices of automation and control systems, technological processes of production for various purposes. The main activity of the technician in this specialty is associated with the operation, maintenance, maintenance and tuning of automated systems.

The main responsibilities of a technician in technological automation include:
- carry out development and computer modeling of automation system elements taking into account the specifics of technological processes;
- to assemble and test models of elements of automation systems taking into account the specifics of technological processes;
- organize the installation, commissioning and maintenance of automation systems and tools;
- carry out ongoing monitoring of the state of automation systems;
- performance of work in one or several professions of workers, positions of employees.
