Master of Instrumentation and Automation
Instrumentation and adjustment technician engaged in the performance of locksmith, repair and assembly and plumbing work at industrial enterprises.
Responsibilities Included:
- installation of devices and electrical circuits of automation systems in accordance with the requirements of labor protection and environmental safety;
- maintenance of electrical circuits and automation devices in accordance with the requirements of technical documentation;
- maintenance and operation of devices and automation systems in accordance with the regulations, labor protection requirements, lean manufacturing and environmental safety.
Must Know:
- the purpose, the device of universal devices and the rules for the use of bench and instrumentation;
- the basic mechanical properties of the processed materials;
- purpose and interaction of the main nodes and mechanisms;
- purpose and rules for the use of universal and special devices and instrumentation;
- principles of using a multimeter, megger and other measuring devices in relay-controlled circuits;
- Instrument Maintenance Rules;
- characteristics and purpose of the main electrical operations.
Must be able to:
- perform basic electrical operations;
- to carry out the installation of electro-radio elements;
- make installation of simple wiring diagrams;
- determine the causes and troubleshoot simple devices;
- to analyze the structural diagrams of automatic control and regulation systems;
- perform metalwork, assembly and repair of parts;
- work on metalworking machines of various types;
- carry out maintenance of various instrumentation and automation systems.
Working conditions: work with average physical stress, mainly indoors, in a mechanical repair shop or team, as well as individually as a repairman on duty. Locksmiths work both indoors in stationary workplaces and in the open air.
Employment: in production, in laboratories, in design bureaus, at construction sites, etc.
Type of profession in the subject of labor: the profession refers to the type of «Man - Technique», it is focused on working with technical means.
Necessary qualities to ensure success in the profession:
- technical orientation of the mind;
- good spatial thinking;
- linear and surround eye;
- hardness of hands;
- accuracy and sensitivity of the fingers;
- shutter speed;
- patience;
- sustainability of attention.
Medical restrictions: diseases of the musculoskeletal system, heart, lungs, blood vessels, eyes, nervous system. Allergic diseases (allergy to the smell of oils, emulsions, etc.).
Form of study: full-time education is implemented in this profession.
Duration of study: on the basis of general education (9 classes) - 3 years 10 months.
